Creation of a promotional poster in Photoshop
The idea was to create a poster of the María Pelae's new song, Letra Menúa.
Being the poster of a song, I focused on choosing images from the video clip of this song.
For the background I decided to use one of the backgrounds that appear in the video, I wanted it to be a solid color, just with its shadows and lights. Then, I captured some images of the dancers and the artist.
One of the images I liked the most was the one where Maria is sitting on the couch, with that funny attitude. That's why I chose it as the main image. And the rest of the photos were desaturated, to give prominence to the main image.
Then, I placed the resulting poster in several mock ups, to see how it would be implemented in different formats.
